Amalgam offers a collection of powerful effects all within one app. These effects are designed to be both impressive and easy to perform, requiring only your phone.
Amalgam provides clear instructions for each effect and also offers customization settings. Additionally, it includes a community section where users can submit tips and routines.
AMALGAM INCLUDES:
- Streets: This popular app by John Archer has been revamped with new features such as a modernized real map and a "gyro crib". With Streets, you can divine the location your spectator is thinking of, perform a book test without any memory work, and even use a "legitimate mode" that supports all languages.
- TimedOut: This customizable prediction effect puts the power in your spectator's hands. You can accurately predict numbers, dice rolls, ESP symbols, star signs, and more, using images from your own Photos or drawings. After making your prediction, there is no need to touch the phone again. No internet or Bluetooth connection is required, and the spectator checks their own prediction by keeping the phone in their hands. This effect is perfect for pairing with other electronic mentalism effects.
- Watch: With Watch, you can reveal a freely chosen time. Your spectator zooms in on a wristwatch in a photograph to discover that it's set to the exact time they named. This effect allows for customization using your own photo and any time can be named to the minute. Watch utilizes a unique method that doesn't rely on voice recognition or unjustified inputs.
- Word Search: In this word search game from Harry De Cruz, you can seemingly demonstrate superhuman memory abilities. With just a brief glance at the word search, you can reveal the positions and directions of all the hidden words. The method used in this effect minimizes memory work and there is no need to secretly obtain information during the performance. The phone remains in the spectator's hands.
- Inertia: Inertia allows you to force text, photos, and videos on any website without hiding the screen from the spectator. This effect works well as a prediction or when combined with another revelation. You can predict a word on any website or force photos and videos on Instagram. It is even possible to reveal that you predicted a selected Tweet, movie, or Instagram post.
- OneStopShop: This fully customizable effect enables you to force a product from an online store of your choice. It features a novel input method that combines old and new mechanics. You can select from multiple built-in presets or create your own. There are even options to force multiple playing card back designs thanks to Theory11, Daniel Madison, and Patrick Kun. The built-in clothing preset is perfect for combining with physical effects like Dresscode by Calen Morelli.
- ChoiceMail: ChoiceMail allows you to impossibly reveal your spectator's selection by playing an audio message. The input mechanism allows you to secretly code the reveal during your performance. It also incorporates a novel input peek system that is hidden in plain sight. The app includes built-in presets recorded by AGT winner Shin Lim, and it is fully customizable with custom presets.
- Amped: Amped lets you showcase your seemingly superhuman powers over technology using a combination of screenshots. It offers various customization options and allows for a clean finish - the device can be thoroughly inspected at the end of the performance. For a physical effect, you can combine Amped with a Charge Card (sold separately).
